Meet James Archer

James works as an engineer (actually a Senior Subject Matter Expert) at a large engineering company based in Derby, where he is also a Union Rep.  He has lived in Erewash for nearly 10 years, and in his spare time, he is a Parish Councillor in Sawley.  He is standing because he believes in helping people and in delivering a fair deal.

James’ key priorities for Erewash are to fix our broken NHS and care system, Erewash residents should be able to be seen by a GP appointment within 24 hours and NHS dentistry should be available for all.  As James says:  “The NHS was a Liberal invention and right now it needs the Liberal Democrats to make sure it can continue to be there for the people of Erewash for the next 80 years and beyond.”

James is also horrified by the way water companies like Severn-Trent have been allowed to pay dividends and bonus to executives whilst Sewage is discharged into river Erewash and its tributaries including the Golden Brook which runs through west park.

A vote for James on July 4th will be a vote for a fair deal for the NHS and a vote to fix our crumbling infrastructure.
